類型三：陳述意見, 有30分鐘的答題時間
以短文的方式應答, 300字上下的文章即可. 需要解釋或表達自己的立場或意見, 問題涵蓋：
職場議題
教育
交通
世代變遷
職業選擇
家庭
議題的呈現方式為：
同意或不同意特定陳述
描述優劣
評分重點：
組織能力及文章架構
提出的支持理由和舉例
主題相關性, 段落連結
文法及字彙使用
準備方式:
申論題的問法多半是為1. 你同意上述論點嗎? 2.請你表達同意或不同意並舉例說明. 3.對於上述論點.你有甚麼看法? 這部分有字數的要求. 基本上沒有太多的時間可以思考和布局, 要能快速的抉擇, 加上2-3個陳述理由.對於打字慢的同學來說時間會是最大的挑戰.
文章布局可以分為4段或是五段.
四段分法:1.表達立場2.論點一+舉例/說明 3.論點二+舉例說明 4.結語
五段分法: 1.表達立場2.論點一+舉例/說明 3.論點二+舉例說明 4. 轉折段落 5.結語
第一段的表達立場和最後一段結語可以套用模板節省思考時間. 中間的段落則需要連接詞來串連, 讓文章呈現整體感和順暢度, 增加閱讀性.
寫作風格也不需要太過學術, 可以使第一人稱或是第二人稱書寫, 方便舉例說明補充.
第四段的轉折段落是簡述另一立場的觀點, 加以駁斥. 這樣可以使整篇文章的考量是也更廣, 也可增加文章字數. 當然如果時間不充裕, 可省略本段. 反之若查覺字數不足, 可在補上轉折段落, 或是在每一個立場下多做一個補充說明或是舉例.
